Poker Chips Hurtling Across the WSOP 2008 Poker Tables

Poker chips started to fly across the poker tables at this year’s World Series of Poker, which started on June 15th 2008.
One event which particularly caught the eye of our reporters was Event Number 28, $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha. 152 poker players took the plunge and bought $5,000 worth of poker chips, including some huge names in poker like Daniel Negreanu, Erick Lindgren, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey and Erik Seidel. In fact, at table number 15 (when at one point in the poker tournament all these poker stars were gabling their poker chips at the poker table at the same time!) there were 30 WSOP poker bracelets between all the poker players! That has to be a record. And by the end of the day, each of these players were firmly in contestation and with plenty of poker chips for yet another poker bracelet to make it 31 in total! Negreanu ended the first day in 9th place, Hellmuth in 7th and Lindgren in 3rd (Lindgren had about double the amount of poker chips compared to Daniel Negreanu).
In other news, Personalpokerchip is soon to add extensively to its poker table collection. Many of our poker chip customers want a larger selection of tables to choose from to accompany their new custom poker chip sets and within 2 weeks we aim to have all the new table designs finalised, tested and ready to manufacture for your home poker game. We only have two poker table models which we stock (the Nuts Poker Table and the Texas Hold’em Poker Table) whilst all the others are made from scratch to your exact specification in our workshop.
